About: With over twelves years’ experience as a soft tissue specialist Hayley holds the highest qualification within Sports and Remedial Therapy (MISRM) (SMA) and also offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage(MLD), Craniosacral therapy, Visceral and Myofascial massage therapy.

Clinical Interests: Back pain, Neck pain, Chronic pain, Migraines, Head Injuries, Posture and alignment, Pre and Postoperative care

Sporting Interest: Running, Triathlons, Ironman, CrossFit, Football, Rugby.

Work Experience: Pure Sports Medicine, Victory Health and Performance, The National Tennis Centre, Canada’s Senior Mens Rugby FC, The Canary Wharf Health Club, Select Physiotherapy.

Although Hayley has a clinical background, she still believes a holistic approach to healthcare is just as important to aid recovery.

About: Kate trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy, with a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. Medical evidence supports the use of hypnotherapy in pain alleviation, pain management and analgesia.

Clinical Interests: Pain management, Sports Performance, Muscle Relaxation, Pain Reduction Techniques, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias, and Relaxation Training.

Sporting Interest: Swimming, Walking, Tennis, Horse Riding and Dressage, Rugby and Football.

Work Experience: Kate has successfully treated a variety of phobias, helped improved athletes with sports performance and anxiety issues. She has successfully helped individuals reduce their panic attacks and a range of other pain and anxiety related difficulties. Kate works with the whole person, and uses relaxation and mindfulness as additional tools to promote healthy and happy outcomes for her clients.

the highest qualification within Sports and Remedial Soft Tissue
Therapy (NLSSM) (SMA) and also offers Pregnancy and Post-
Natal massage and Kinesiology taping.

Sporting Interest:Kelly has always had a huge passion for
sport, having worked in elite sports for 15 years with many top
names including; West Ham United, England Rugby, London
2012 Olympics and 2014 Commonwealth Games. Personal
interests include running, boxing, football and tennis.

Jon Houghton

About:Jon has wide and extensive experience in treating Elite Athletes, Weekend Warriors and all those who are physically active or in pain.
He specialises in Tendon pain utilising Ultrasound and UTC scanning for diagnosis and Ultrasound Guided Injections and ESWT (Shockwave) as potential treatments.
Jon has excellent communication skills and promotes a multidisciplinary approach, liaising effectively with Physiotherapists, Osteopaths/Chiropractors, pain doctors and Orthopaedic Surgeons to get the best results for his patients.  He understands the significant effects that injury and pain can have on normal day to day life and promotes physical activity in all of his treatment plans. Jon was head of the Wales Medical Team in the hugely successful EURO 2016 tournament and continues to look after Wales Football and the recent county cricket champions, Surrey.

Clinical Interests: Upper and Lower Limb Overuse and Running injuries, Bone stress injuries, adolescent overuse injuries, Hip and Groin pain, Exercise Induced Leg pain and injury rehabilitation.
His Rheumatology interests are Gout, Inflammatory Spinal conditions and inflammatory joint conditions that affect young or athletic people.

Work Experience: Chief Medical Officer and Team Doctor to the Football Association of Wales, Team Doctor Surrey County Cricket Club, Chair of the Royal College of Physicians Sport and Exercise Medicine Committee, Member of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine Ultrasound Committee, Previous head of Lower Limb Rehabilitation for the Armed Forces at DMRC Headley Court

About:Dr Thompson is a Consultant in Sport, Exercise and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He is the Club Doctor/physician at Brentford Football Club and works as a Consultant in Community NHS musculoskeletal and Chronic Pain Clinics in Surrey Heath and Croydon.
Dr Thompson has a keen interest in Paediatric Sport & Exercise Medicine. He has an understanding of the demands placed on children and adolescents at all levels. Children & adolescents have specific needs and injury patterns that can often be different to adults; these must be appreciated in order to implement appropriate rehabilitation programmes.
