Yamuna Body Rolling is a complementary fitness and therapy practice that combines healing, wellness, strength and injury prevention in a single, simple workout.
It is a physical activity that uses specifically designed balls to effect change in your body, skin, fascia, muscles and bones as well as your emotional wellbeing – recognising where tension and emotion is being held in the body and enabling its release.
Body Rolling grew out of a technique known as Yamuna Body Logic, a hands-on therapy used to exert traction on a muscle in the direction of its natural movement, decompressing bones, joints and nerves and restoring full function. It quickly became clear that the most benefit could be gained from this if clients were given the tools to enable them to do this work as needed, away from the therapy room. And so, Yamuna Body Rolling was born.
